Earlier in the day, reports from Italy took the football community by storm, claiming that agent Mino Raiola passed away due to an illness. Following this, a series of big media houses reported the same that saw the news spread like wildfire. 

But to everyone’s surprise, the news was false and the Italian had to come out and give a statement dismissing the rumours of his death.

“Current health status for the ones wondering: pissed off second time in 4 months they kill me. Seem also able to ressuscitate.”

This was not the first time he had to deal with speculations of this kind. There were rumours of his demise back in January when he had to similarly put out a tweet to clarify that he was fine and not undergoing any emergency surgery but ordinary medical checks. 

Raiola is know to represent several top players in the football business– Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Marco Verratti and Erling Haaland to name a few.
