According to Marca, Kylian Mbappe has decided on his future, and it is in favour of Real Madrid. 

Last week is believed to have been vital in getting the deal over the line. Mbappe is expected to sign for five years.

PSG have fought tooth and nail to keep the mercurial talent in Paris, with none other than French President Emmanuel Macron intervening in persuading the 23-year-old to stay in Paris. However, the youngster has had his heart set on a move to the club he has dreamt of playing for since childhood. 

Mbappe himself said he has made a decision on his future and that everyone will know without long when he recently appeared at an award ceremony in Paris. It will be interesting to see what unfolds, as PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaifi is not used to seeing the back of players who he doesn’t want to be sold, and Mbappe’s departure is sure to hurt the Qatari’s project. 

The report states that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has remained ultra professional throughout the negotiations, with the Spaniard basing his decisions on Mbappe’s commitment to play for the European titans. 

Real Madrid's CEO Jose Angel Sanchez also made the negotiations a priority, clearing the schedule to make time for the all-important deal.
