Paul Pogba has been the subject of interest from the leading clubs since news broke that the Frenchman has no intention to renew his contract with Manchester United and if a report by La Gazzetta dello Sport is to be believed, Juventus are ready to bring the midfielder back to Turin.
It is believed Pogba still has affection for the city where he grew into one of the most highly-rated midfielders in the world, before returning to Man United for a world-record fee.
Despite offers from both Bayern Munich and PSG, Juventus believe they would be the 29-year-old’s preferred option. The late Mino Raiola, who had a good relationship with the club, was informed about their interest months ago.
Although the wages offered by I Bianconeri are below what the likes of PSG can afford, they are confident a deal can be reached if the bonuses are right. Real Madrid are another club who have been linked with the player in the past, but the interest seems to have cooled down in recent months.
Juventus are currently sat fourth in the Serie A table after a disappointing season but the security of Champions League football next season means the club can move forward with their plans of a summer revival. After the blockbuster capture of Dusan Vlahovic from Fiorentina, Allegri’s side will be focused on adding further quality to the side.
