The Frenchman was heavily linked with several clubs over the past few months for a possible move away from Manchester, and a deal is finally looking to materialise.
According to a report from BBC, an agreement has been reached between Manchester United and Sevilla over a loan deal for Martial that would see him wear the red and white outfit for the rest of the season.
The report also suggests that there will be no loan fee involved though Sevilla will be covering all of Martial’s wages for the duration of the loan spell. The player will be announced as soon as the medical is complete.
Sevilla have been keeping track of the 26-year-old’s situation at United. His addition might boost their title pursuit, with the Seville club currently placed second in the table, four points behind Real Madrid.
There have also been reports from Spain claiming that Martial was prepared to take a wage cut to force through a move with Los Rojiblancos.
The France forward has featured only 11 times this season for United, scoring a goal against Everton. Sevilla will travel to Pamplona for their next league game against Osasuna, and Martial could play a part in it should the deal go through in time.
