Real Madrid on Tuesday announced the signing of midfielder Eduardo Camavinga from French club Rennes on a deal reportedly worth €40m, according to Sky Sports. The 18 yr old has signed a six-year contract with the Spanish giants.

Camavinga has been one of the most sought-after teenagers in Europe ever since he broke through from the Rennes academy and went on to win the man of the match award in a win against PSG in 2019. In August 2020, he became one of the youngest players to be called up for the French senior team.

The Frenchman becomes the second incoming of the summer for Los Blancos, with manager Ancelotti probably hoping the third would be long-standing target Kylian Mbappe.
