Dortmund are all set to complete the signing of RB Salzburg forward Karim Adeyemi, according to Kicker.

The youngster has been linked to some of the biggest clubs in Europe including Bayern Munich and Liverpool.

The 20-year-old, who used to play for Bayern’s academy, is the hottest RB Salzburg prospect at the moment and could soon follow in Erling Haaland’s footsteps if he makes the move to Dortmund. Interestingly, it seems like Adeyemi would not be able to share minutes with Norwegian as the latter reportedly looks set to move to Manchester City in the summer.

Adeyemi is not believed to be a like-for-like replacement for Haaland, with the German more in the mould of Jadon Sancho, who likes to dribble with the ball into the box. That said, Dortmund would expect goals from the youngster, who has a league-best 16 goals in 20 starts in Austria this season. 

Adeyemi has also shone for Salzburg in Europe, scoring thrice in the Champions League before being eliminated by Bayern in the Round of 16.
