Arsenal had announced that Reiss Nelson has joined Dutch side Feyenoord on a season-long loan. This is not his first loan spell, the 21-year-old spent the 2018/19 season on loan with German side Hoffenheim.
Since getting promoted to the senior team, the Hale End academy graduate has made 48 first-team appearances for Arsenal, scoring 4 goals. The England youth international is yet to feature for the Gunners in this campaign and left with two years on his current contract.
Defender Hector Bellerin is also set for a move out to join Real Betis with his medical completed on Tuesday afternoon in London, as reported by Ornstein for the Athletic. The talks are in the final stages and Betis will announce their new signing as soon as they get approval from La Liga. The deal would be a season-long loan with no option to buy.
The 26-year-old couldn’t quite get his football on track since suffering from a knee injury in 2019. Last season, the Spaniard made 25 appearances for Arsenal but found himself below Chambers and Soares in the pecking order this season.
In a pursuit to get his career back on track, Bellerin decided to force a move away from the club, willing to take a pay cut in return for first-team football.
