Arsenal are interested in signing Man City ace Gabriel Jesus, who is struggling to find playtime under Guardiola.
The 25-year-old is heading into the final year of his contract and considering a move out. According to Goal in Brazil, the player’s representatives have opened talks with other clubs, including Arsenal, for a potential summer move.
In a conversation on The Athletic Football Podcast, David Ornstein reported that Arsenal technical director Edu Gaspar and Gabriel Jesus’ representatives have been in contact for several months.
At this stage, the negotiations with the striker’s representatives are mostly done, and a personal agreement has been reached. However, Arsenal are yet to contact Manchester City about a potential summer move.
The Brazil international has scored 93 goals in 230 appearances for City but hasn’t been a regular starter for them in the Premier League, something that Arsenal could offer should he choose to join them come summer.
